Earlier this week we had an incident at Codi and Charity's High School. A very troubled 14 year old boy, randomly walked up to a 17 year old girl and from behind slashed her throat. Luckily she will be OK. He will not. It is a sad way for the world to be. I have read about this in our local paper and one of the things the very wise parents said is "We can't live our lives in fear. But just make sure and tell your kids you love them everyday when they go to school."
Well, I want to make sure my kids know I love them. They make my life better, they make me better and this world better as well. I am grateful for my step-children, you have all added more flowers to my bouquet of life. Grandma adores those beautiful grand kids too! I love all of you.
P.S. And Peter, you are my bestest friend and love of my life.
