Last Wednesday we had our RS Christmas social and it went off without a hitch. We had nine beautifully set tables by different women, and a nice ham dinner. I think the women enjoyed themselves and my friend Shawna and I, as usual, made the gym look fantastic (she as a wealth of stuff to decorate with and is very talented.) We decorated like an old fashioned Country Christmas and our theme was "Let It Be Christmas"

Looks great mom! You always had a knack for that kind of stuff. Funny about your friend Shawna though. In my ward in OR their was a woman like that by the same name :).
Haha, our RS pres and first counselor are blonds but the new 2nd counselor is brunette. Did I tell you that I was called to the Enrichment committee? I start in Jan since everything this month is planned.
Looks great. good thing you sat guard, it would have been a same to see any of the destroyed by rowdy boys.
Your tables look lovely!! We find that our sisters don't want a Christmas social as the season is too busy so we end RS 10 minutes early on the Sunday before Christmas and the RS presidency serves treats and hot cider. The sisters seem to enjoy those few moments to socialize and relax. The ladies in Primary and YW come to join us at the top of the hour. It's fun but I miss having the kind of event that your ward did. Nice work!!
