Nothing really exciting is going on in our lives at this moment.
But life is not like a novel. We can't just decide not to read it when it isn't thrilling and a real page turner. No, my life is certainly not like the Twilight series!
But, I feel a change is waiting in the wing. Today is the Presidential Inauguration for Obama and I hope the changes there are ones in favor of our country and the working class ... time will tell.
Maybe our change will be with Peter's business. He has really been looking high and low for jobs all over the Western US, and has even applied for some of them. He received a letter from UDOT in regard to a job in St. George, Utah he applied for on-line. They thanked him for applying but they have cut back and are not able to hire new, so they will be filling it from within. (Then why was the job posted on-line in the first place?) So the search continues.
It would be nice to have a good steady income, insurance and something that he could still do his own Engineering on the side. Hey, if you are going to dream, dream big! Mean while I think I will put some excitement in my life and re-read the Twilight series.

I finished one book I got for Christmas and am now moving to another. lol
We will be praying for you guys. This economy is just really hard! I pray our president can concentrate on our suffering economy and not lowering our morals.
Life is all about change and how we deal with them. I hope the changes coming for your life are good one!!
And of course I still value our friendship even though we stand of different side of that fence. I'm happy we reconnected after all those years!! Love ya!
Detra, it was awesome to hear from you. I love the twilights also! So Peter is looking for a different job? the economy has affected us too. Bryce was the slowest he has ever been this winter. Stress, gray hair, stress, gray hair! Gotta love it!
