As many of you know, Peter and I have had a rough go, over the last couple years. With my chronic fatigue hitting me for a few months, making it hard to work a regular job, a couple large medical expenses and no insurance...the bills were mounting. To top it off, Peter's business was just getting off the ground, and was hit hard by the economic down turn. YES, Life has been a huge challenge!
We have ridden out, what I hope is, the worst of the storm. And we finally see light at the end of the tunnel. (Well, we kept seeing light, but it was a freight train coming right at us! LOL) There were days when we thought we would never see the light of day again, I must confess.
It seemed the harder we prayed the more we were tested.
And then finally, windows began to open and sun light came through....
I was recently able to get a job working for an Ear Nose and Throat Specialist as an office manager, so this will provide us with a steady income and insurance benefits, Wahoooo! (I am on probation for the first month, so provided I can learn it up to snuff, I will be on board after that) Peter has more and more clients that are building trust and giving him repeat business. So, business with Borner Engineering is slowly picking up, as well.
And HUGE... Peter signed a new child support/alimony agreement that is more accurately based, which means we can actually afford to live AND meet his responsibilities. Peter loves his children so much, it pained him to feel like no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't do what he was legally obligated to. (Could you pay out 2800.00 a month if you made less then 50,000 a year?) Because he was constantly in a-rears, we were unable to plan to go to the temple. Now, with the new plan signed and arrangements made to pay back arrears, we can move forward. I honestly didn't know how Heavenly Father would bring it all together, but He has. And THAT my friends is the Miracle!
We have so much to be thankful for, beautiful children, grandchildren and loving friends and family. A warm, dry roof over our heads and food on our table. A loving Heavenly Father and more blessings then I can ever count.
I know there will continue to be challenges ahead, but I would be ungrateful to not acknowledge His hand in our lives. I am grateful to look back and see one steady set of foot steps in the sand, knowing He has carried me through when times were hard!
My scripture for the week: 2 Nephi 33:6- "I glory in plainness; I glory in truth; I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell."
Hell can come in many forms! Being broke constantly is hell, for sure!

What a touching post mom. I am so very greatful too for the recent mircals in your life! You may be on a probation period but i have no doubt you'll be on as long as you choose! Your current work is right up your alley and I know you will be a joy to the whole office as well as the patients, you just have that kind of personality!
Even though the tide has stasrted to turn you continue to be in my prayers. Tell Peter nice work on doing so well that people are coming back even in THIS economy where he job has almost seized to exsist. Very impressive! Love ya!
