Life and Such

I don't really have much to blog about. Things are pretty calm. Catherine stayed home today, she has the cough and temperature thing that goes along with the swine flu...could be, there has been a case already documented in Colorado. I'm not too worried, we will just take good care of her and make sure she has plenty of fluids.
I am planning on going to the Grand County high school reunion this summer and will get to see some of my friends I haven't seen since Jr. High. It's been nice to get to reconnect with them on face book, it will make that more enjoyable.

And one of the best things about face book has been reconnecting with my childhood friend Luree. I don't know why, but loosing contact with her for the last few years was hard. Reconnecting and touching base with each other regularly has put my world back in balance. It's not that we are even all that much the same. She is for the most part calm and contemplating. I am the more hyper and spontaneous one. But somehow, when we were 10 we just connected and it has never been undone. We have both been through so much. Failed marriages, struggling to make it on our own, and live our dream of writing.
I have been blessed with such wonderful friends in my life. People I know I can count on. I have heard it said, that our choice of friends reflect what kind of people we are. I hope that is true, I can find no higher complement!
My garden of friends is absolutely perfect :)

I am glad that you have been able to find people who were once "lost". I love technology.

I agree FB is so awesome for that! And I have to agree. In your life you have made friendships that I am amazed by, they have lasgted the test of time. Besides that I have with say you or my sister, I have never had anyhing like it and you've have a few. I am hoping for just one! lol I supposed it will help if I can stay place somewhere long enough to really plant the roots. But just the same those things are rare. I'm glad you've been so blessed. Sorry for the ramble!

Jenn, yes it is nice to "find" old friends and chat with current.

Lisa, You have your share of friends, but most importantly, you have your sister. Remember when you were growing up and I would say when you two argued "Other friends will come and go, but you will always have each other...you are each others best friends" and you are.

AND... I love what either of you have to say, It is NEVER rambling! Silly girl. I love you both very much.
